New programs to facilitate borrowers by Intrum Hellas
Mr George Georgakopoulos, Managing Director of Intrum Hellas, talked to «Kathimerini» (Sunday edition) about the initiatives and actions taken by the company to lead the way to a sound economy
In his interview, Mr George Georgakopoulos, outlined the development by Intrum Hellas of new step-up products to assist borrowers with repayments to cope with the impact of the pandemic, as well as the extensive activities to ensure there is no new wave of delinquent loans in the market.
He also points out that it is critical that legal enforcement re-commences, taking into consideration the commitments of the securitisations in the Greek market, with suitable protection for vulnerable borrowers and that the provision of DPO-financing by banks can give liquidity and allow credit repair, which can only help borrowers and the broader economy.
