The European Central Bank increases interest rates for the 3rd time in 2022.

For the first time in 11 years, in July ’22, the European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council raised rates by 0.50%. Later on, in September ’22, ECB raised rates again, by 0.75%, the largest hike ever, since its establishment.
