Mr. George Georgakopoulos, CEO of Intrum Hellas, talking to mononews.gr about the importance of the participation of borrowers in the Bridge program and the need for effective absorption of funds from the Recovery Fund to drive the Greek economy towards recovery.
The CEO of Intrum Hellas, Mr. George Georgakopoulos, notes that “the major priority today is for as many borrowers as possible to participate in the Bridge Program. The amount of new NPLs will depend primarily on participation in the program which provides with effective solutions to address the situation thus, the reduction of new debts due to the pandemic.
When asked how there can be "maintenance" of economic activity during the COVID-19 crisis, Mr. Georgakopoulos mentions four actions.
